We have invested substantially in new technology for detecting, diagnosing and monitoring eye conditions to enable us to provide the highest standard in eye care.

The iFusion

The iFusion combines the high resolution digital photography capability of the iCam (both anterior eye and retinal photography) with the retinal scanning ability of the iVue OCT.

OCT

This stunning non-invasive technology takes many individual scans to build up a high resolution 3D image of the retinal layers and provides measurements of the retinal layers of the Macular and the Optic Nerve and these are analysed to show the earliest signs of retinal diseases such as Glaucoma and Age related Macular Degeneration. Enabling earlier detection and monitoring of the progression such conditions.We can also take scans of the front of the eye to look for problems in the Cornea or the angle between the Cornea and the Iris (related to the risk of developing Acute Closed Angle Glaucoma).

Seiko iPad digital dispensing tool

As part of our commitment to providing expert eyecare we use the SEIKO iPad Digital Dispensing Tool. This calculates the important measurements required to individually tailor multifocal lenses to your prescription, facial characteristics and the spectacle frame to provide the optimal vision for your lifestyle. It also enables you to experience the visual performance of the lens design and other lens options in real time.
